Jerk Spiced Ranch
Spicy. Creamy. Delicious
Call me crazy but I think jerk seasoning belongs in almost everything. You’ve seen me stir it into pasta sauce, use it to make the crispiest chicken cutlets for my Jerk Chicken Caesar, and now we’re adding it to ranch.
I love this recipe because it’s easy, incredibly versatile, and comes together in just a few minutes. Drizzle it over salads, serve it alongside crispy potatoes, use it as a dip for fresh vegetables, or do what I did and pair it with my delicious roast chicken. Once you make it, you’ll start finding excuses to put it on everything.
Ingredients
Heaping 1/4 cup sour cream
Heaping 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon buttermilk
1 tablespoon jerk sauce (I use my favorite store-bought jerk sauce here)
1/2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
1/2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
Zest of 1/2 lemon
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, and jerk sauce to a small bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Fold in the dill, chives, and lemon zest.
Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste, then give it one final stir.
If you have the time, let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving. This gives the flavors a chance to meld together and i swear it makes every bite even better.
I really think you guys are going to love this one so please circle back to tell me what you think.
